Why I Hate Bicyclists
I saw that one video of the man who got a ticket for not riding in the bike lane and went to prove that it’s impossible to ride in the bike lane at all times. While that is true, cyclists often do not ride in the bike lane even if it’s clear. Also they’re the biggest assholes of the road, even more so than impatient taxi drivers. They act as if they’re pedestrians and cars all at once. They have the right of way, over pedestrians apparently, they can ride through a red light, they don’t signal at all where they’re going, yet they expect to be feared like a car. On several occasions, I’ve seen a cyclist yell at a car or a pedestrian for being “reckless” while at the same time, they’re not riding in the bike lane, sometimes in the middle of the road in heavy traffic. Honestly, they need to get off their environmentalist high horse and follow some rules.

Bikes are considered moving vehicles and as such must obey the same rules of the road that other motorists do- which means they are subject to the same $200+ ticket for running a red light. if they are caught.
oh dont get me started on cyclists …they take up the whole road ergh
LMAOO my roommate is one of those aggressive bicyclist. She told me stories where she yelled and stuck her middle finger at drivers who cut her path.
all those on the road are subject to the law of the road, esp bicyclists, even pedestrians for that matter, those laws are to ensure fairness and safety to all equally, so if a nasty bicyclist wants to run me down while I’m walking, good luck to him (smirks)
No worse than annoying pedestrians or annoying drivers. There are bad seeds everywhere. Just realize that the reason for this it that takes a lot more energy to stop and start going again on a bicycle then when walking or driving where u just sit on your ass and press the gas pedal.
@nomilktoday - cannot blame her, i’ve done the same
@Konrado - lol. looks like your a cyclist.
@XoAsianBabioX - – what would ever give you that idea? ;)
Good thing its too hot in texas for bicyclists to roam freely here =)
i love bicycling but i follow the rules of the road… as a car not a pedestrian. so i agree with u.
great post– i can totally relate!
run em ova.

I’m a pretty shy biker, I usually prefer biking through shady looking back streets and alley ways than I do with riding alongside cars. But when I do, I totally understand what you mean when bikers think they’re both pedestrians and drivers haha. I’m guilty of driving through red lights and not signaling, but I feel a bit silly waiting on a red light at an intersection when there are barely any cars around and I blame my lack of signaling to my very very bad sense of balance..@SoullFire - Wow, really? I had no idea.. :S
