…I’ve become a xangalurker. I don’t post blogs, and I just view people’s blogs, usually without leaving a comment. Haha.
Well, I have nothing particularly deep to share, except that I’m frustrated yet happy at the same time.
Frustration: West Connection
West Connection has been the worst decision of my life. I hate the majority of the band, (3 out of 4 other band members that I associate with). I’m getting shafted since I don’t play the actual piano on ANY of the songs. I’ve been ranked second best and put on the synth, when the “pianist” is terrible, and the entire choir knows it. The entire choir doesn’t understand why I don’t get to play the piano. The entire choir thinks the director is being unfair. And the pianist is the one band member I have the most problems with. Cannot stand her. She overhypes her own skill and does a lot of empty boasting. WORST PART OF IT. It’s interfering with other priorities I hold way over West Connection, but I’m forced to it because it’s an obligation.
Happiness: Erm, nothing in particular.
I was named math optimist student of the year. The science department also wanted to name me science optimist student of the year, but I was already named math optimist. I know thats completely nerdy, but hey. I dig it.
Also, Mr. Shillinglaw chose my marketing campaign project to be the example for his Marketing I class this year. Hells yes.
EIGHT MORE PAGES TO GO FOR MY DECA PROJECT! YES!
Still toiling away at college stuff. Finished all my apps. Now, I need to fill out a FAFSA and figure out which schools need mid-year reports. University of Pennsylvania may have deferred me, but I’m pretty confident that I won’t be denied.
Oh, and Daniel Holtmeyer, I’m sorry you found my old xanga post. It’s pretty akward that your dad found it, though.
