Would you sign a pre-nup before getting married? Why or why not?
I saw this question, and I remember talking to Leah about this. So I decided I’m going to answer it.
No, I wouldn’t. I think you should go into marriage optimistically and a pre-nup is like, “Well just in case we don’t work out…” I don’t want to have a worry like that and it’s like a back-up. It would make me/my husband (depends on who makes more money) more apt and ready to have a divorce anytime there’s a fight while the other would be heavily reluctant. Without a pre-nup I think I would be more open to solving differences.
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

hi, random props.Say you had $150 million. It took 10 years of hard work to reach the amount of money. The “love of your life” has zeros next to his/hers bank statement. And, you live in California. Would you sign a pre-nup? If I were you, I’d sign one.
So, you’re telling me you’re willing to lose 75 million dollars for taking a leap of faith? Marriage is no longer “till death do us apart.” Divorce rates are 50%. It’s always good to have a Plan B because most times Plan A, B, C, and D won’t work out.
