@BaLob - Ditto. Kinda late right now, was about to shower and go to bed. Maybe tomorrow. I watched the first few minutes, and it seems interesting.
I wonder what made this explode today.. I’ve literally never heard of until about 10 hours ago, and now its EVERYWHERE.I like it:3
Okay, so everyone’s going to b*tch about going into Iraq/Afghanistan to remove Al Qaeda and the Taliban, but then cheer over this? And yes, clicking a link or whatever is all that most people will do and feel their conscious is clean.
@npr32486 – just for clarification, I never advocated the premature pull out of troops in the middle east. But yes all you do is click a button but the point of this campaign is simply awareness.
@eatdrinkandbemaryy - That wasn’t directed at anyone in particular. Just tired of everyone that whines about wanting change, or intervening, but few of them actually protest, write their representatives, or heaven forbid actually enlist in the military
pretty crazy
That’s not “a moment.” Sorry, if I get 29 minutes to do whatever I want to do all at one time, I’ll spend it on my own kid.
I don’t know how people can be so indifferent. This is horrible. And to imagine it is just a small pocket of the same mutilated morals practiced in so many places. Whenever I have some spare money I will donate. I am soon going to move and when I do I will write my local congressmen. Just because it’s far away, just because it’s one of millions of horrors around the world, does not mean it’s ANY LESS HORRIBLE. All you can do is all you can do, and I (and many of you) can help here. Don’t ever stop caring. The end of caring is the end of humanity.
@blonde_apocalypse – lol then get off the computer and don’t waste time writing a comment.
@DrummingMediocrity – I don’t really suggest you to donate because many nonprofits don’t utilize the money in an appropriate fashion. Check invisiblechildren.tumblr.com. I support this campaign only because it raises support and awareness for the united states government to continue their efforts.
@eatdrinkandbemaryy - Okay. Well then how do you support the campaign, if not monetarily?
@blonde_apocalypse - I skipped through it in about 5 min and got the gist. muted, at that.
@DrummingMediocrity – I don’t support the foundation. Just the campaign and cause.
@DrummingMediocrity – support the campaign? The campaign is all about awareness. All they ask is for people to show their interest to prove to legislators there should be something done. The money you give them doesn’t necessarily go to good use.
finally watched it, tried to watch it about half an hour after you posted it last night, ended up hearing about it this morning elsewhere but still didn’t get a good grasp until no, interesting…
